From all things digital (think social ads and stories, Google’s ad suite, and more) to PSAs and full-blown advertising campaigns, I created clear content that audiences responded to, no matter what character count limit I was up against.
The regular teaching load for us full-timers each semester was 5 classes. I taught 6. Plus summers. My “kids” (as any teacher worth their salt calls ‘em) learned to write strong, clear thesis statements, to enjoy chasing Hemingway through the African hills, and to document their sources.
During my time in Aggieland, I was glued to the books, specializing in American Literature. I graduated magna cum laude and celebrated by spending the summer at the World Cup in South Africa. Gig 'Em.
Yea, Sewanee’s Right. While on the Mountain, I earned distinction on my English Comprehensive Exam, was granted honors after a rigorous honors thesis examination, and graduated cum laude. I spent a summer studying at St. John’s College, Oxford University.
